On July 3rd, 2024, Founding Chairman Zheng Bijian met in Beijing with Mr. Yohei Kono, President of Japan Association for the Promotion of International Trade (JAPIT) and former Speaker of the House of Representatives of Japan who is currently in the capital for a visit.

On the afternoon of March 25, 2024, Li Cheng, the Founding Director of the Center on Contemporary China and the World (CCCW) at the University of Hong Kong and former Director of the John L. Thornton China Center at the Brookings Institution, visited the CIIDS and had a dialogue with the CIIDS scholars on "the China-US Relations in the Year of American Election".

On March 19, 2024, Vice Chairman Feng Wei met with Qi Wei,Deputy Director of the China Center for Contemporary World Research Center,IDCCP,at the CIIDS. The two sides exchanged in-depth views on how to effectively tell China's story and help the world understand China. ​

On the morning of January 10, 2024, Stephen S. Roach, a Senior Fellow at the Paul Tsai China Center of Yale Law School, visited the China Institute of Innovation and Development Strategy (CIIDS). He delivered a speech titled "False Narratives in a World Prone to Conflict" and engaged in dialogue with relevant researchers.
