Welcome to the 2025 Understanding China Conference (Guangzhou)! The conference registration system is now officially open. To ensure a smooth participation experience for you, please complete your online registration before the deadline: 11:59 PM (GMT+8), November 23, 2025.

Please note that all participants are categorized into four groups in the online registration system. To avoid procedural errors, kindly read the following instructions carefully and follow the specific registration process corresponding to your group.

Registration Instructions for Invited Guests:

1. Please log in to the registration system and complete the filling of your personal information accurately.

2. Once submitted, basic information cannot be modified independently. If you need to adjust any details after submission, please contact the organizing committee staff directly for assistance.

3. For returning participants (who have attended the conference before), part of your information for this year’s conference has been pre-filled based on your previous attendance records. Please review the pre-filled content carefully—you may correct any errors by yourself before submission.

4. After verifying that all information is complete and accurate, click the "Submit" button to finalize your registration.

5. Please ensure your registration information is submitted before the deadline: 11:59 PM (GMT+8), November 23, 2025 (consistent with the overall conference registration deadline). 

6. Should you encounter technical issues during the registration process, please reach out to the organizing committee promptly.

Registration Instructions for Other Guests (Journalists excluded):

1. Real-name Registration: Please use the name that is consistent with the name on your identification document.

2. Supported Documents: Identity Card/Passport, Foreign Permanent Resident ID, Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents/ Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents.

3. Information Verification: After the conference secretariat have reviewed and confirmed your personal registration information, a dedicated person will contact you regarding the subsequent payment and registration procedures.

4. Conference Fee: The participation fee for the 2025 Understanding China Conference (Guangzhou) is 35,800 yuan per person, which covers the opening ceremony, welcome reception, keynote speeches,  parallel seminars, special forums, two nights’ accommodation, conference materials, special gifts, buffet lunches, all refreshments during breaks, site visits, and airport pick-up and drop-off services.

Registration Instructions for Journalists:

1. You are required to complete the filling out of basic information, contact information, and interview intentions.

2. After completing all the information, click “submit” and your information will enter the pending review stage.

3. Once your registration is approved, you can log in again to supplement your interview intentions.

4. The basic information and contact information sections cannot be modified after submission. If there are any issues, please contact the organizing committee.

5. Please ensure that your interview intentions are filled out by 11:59 PM (GMT+8), November 23, 2025.

Staff Registration Instructions:

1. You are required to complete the filling out of basic information, contact information, and intended travel information.

2. After completing all the information, click “submit” and your information will enter the pending review stage.

3. Once your registration is approved, you can log in again to supplement your intended information.

4. The basic information and contact information sections cannot be modified after submission. If there are any issues, please contact the organizing committee.

5. Please ensure that all information is completed by 11:59 PM (GMT+8), November 23, 2025.
