Introduction: This book is a theoretical reading that explores how China's excellent traditional culture can be inherited in development and how to combine it with modernization. About the author: Li Junru, member of the Central Advisory Committee for Marxist Theoretical Research and Construction Projects, and member of the Central Propaganda Group for Party History Study and Education. Former vice president, researcher and doctoral supervisor of the Party School of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and an expert enjoying special government allowances from the State Council. Member of the 10th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and member of the Standing Committee of the 11th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. He has long been engaged in the study of the history of Marxist Sinicization thought. He is the author of "Li Junru's Collected Works" (18 volumes), "History of Marxist Sinicization Thought", etc. Among them, the "Mao Zedong Research Trilogy" composed of "Mao Zedong and Modern China", "Mao Zedong and Contemporary China" and "Mao Zedong and Contemporary China after Mao Zedong" won the 11th China Book Award, and the "How to See China" series (Li Junru's "Governing a Great Country: How to Look at the Governance of the Communist Party of China" is one of them) won the 5th China Publishing Government Award, "The History of Marxist Sinicization Thought" won the nomination award of the 5th China Publishing Government Award, and "The Tide of the Times and the Communist Party of China" and many other books have won various excellent book awards. The papers "Deng Xiaoping's "Theory of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics" and "Deng Xiaoping's Management Thought and Leadership Art" won the Excellent Paper Award of the "Five One Project" of the First and Second Spiritual Civilization Construction of the Central Propaganda Department respectively.
